Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie McDermott (ranked 3623 p4p, 2984 weight class) and Adilson Rodrigues (ranked 429 p4p, 369 weight class). McDermott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I'm Shipping up to Boston. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermott takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McDermott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rodrigues.
We've been told by McDermott's head coaches at Crapollas Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rodrigues scores with a body shot.
McDermott connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McDermott loads up on a big right hand but Rodrigues slips the punch.
McDermott walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Rodrigues tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDermott was well out of range. Poor timing from Rodrigues.
McDermott moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McDermott tries to circle away but Rodrigues has him pinned against the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rodrigues lands a big right hand that sends McDermott crashing to the mat! Rodrigues stays standing though and waves McDermott back to his feet!
McDermott is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
McDermott bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Rodrigues comes at him with an uppercut from hell! McDermott falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! McDermott was out before he hit the floor!
