Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Shark (ranked 2330 p4p, 2668 weight class) and Joshua Spotter (ranked 318 p4p, 362 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joshua Spotter!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shark shoots in for a double leg but Spotter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shark gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Spotter moves out of range of the strikes.
Shark connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Shark connects with a nice looking jab.
Spotter throws a right hand that Shark ducks under and follows up with a left that Shark also avoids with ease.
Spotter scores with the left hand. Shark knows he should have avoided that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Spotter misses the target.
Shark closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Shark definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice defenses there by Spotter.
Shark ducks under a wild hook from Spotter.
Shark blocks a jab.
Oooooh!!! Spotter has knocked Shark down with a huge combo! Spotter steps away and waves a wobbly Shark back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spotter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shark.
Oh Shark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spotter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shark counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Spotter tries to roll over but Shark keeps him under control.
Shark seems to have got his legs back now.

Spotter is trying to get back to full guard.
Spotter wants to get back to his feet.
Shark performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Spotter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Shark is thwarting Spotter's attempts to control the position.
Shark looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Shark throws a big shot that misses.
Shark looks to score with a jab to the body but Spotter is just out of range.
Spotter throws a jab when Shark was well out of range.
Shark shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Spotter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Shark controls from within his opponent's guard.
Shark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Spotter is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shark, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Shark looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Spotter wanted to stand there but Shark had control of the position.
Shark looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spotter is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shark looking for a triangle here. Spotter is fighting it but it looks tight! Shark pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Spotter is tapping out - this one is all over!
