These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson misses with a head kick.
Wilson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kendrick lands a nice hook to Wilson's body. Wilson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kendrick scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wilson doesn't seem bothered though.

Wilson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kendrick!

Kendrick is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wilson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Wilson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kendrick doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wilson.

Kendrick has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Wilson. Oh but Kendrick has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Wilson goes limp - he's gone! Kendrick jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
