Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Jabbar (ranked 27 p4p, 113 weight class) and Odchigin Khadan (ranked 6 p4p, 17 weight class). Khadan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Altai Kai (Turkic Throat Singing). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Khadan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Jabbar might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Jabbar has hold of Khadan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Khadan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Khadan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jabbar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Muhammad Jabbar will probably get the nod.

Khadan is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jabbar reverses the position - he's now on top in Khadan's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Khadan is not content to let Jabbar control the position.

Jabbar is pressing down on Khadan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Khadan is holding on for now.
Jabbar is trying to control the action in half guard but Khadan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jabbar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Khadan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
