With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bruce Chang!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funaki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chang.
Chang connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Funaki cracks Chang with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Chang lands with a nice combination. Funaki backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Masa Funaki has been cut.
Funaki takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Funaki went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Funaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bruce Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Funaki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Chang doesn't manage to clinch there - Funaki circles away.
Funaki swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Funaki looks to land a left hand but Chang moved out of range nicely.

Funaki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Funaki motions for Chang to come forward. Funaki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

It looks like Funaki has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Funaki throws a nice inside leg kick.
Chang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Funaki manages to avoid it.

Funaki lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Chang can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Funaki and Chang drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Funaki.

After the fight, Masa Funaki was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
