PBP Commentary

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jiri Pisschazka!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Abdullah shoots in looking for a takedown but Pisschazka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Al Abdullah's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Despite the aggression on Pisschazka's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Pisschazka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pisschazka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Al Abdullah looking for a sweep but Pisschazka has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Pisschazka takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Abdullah tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Al Abdullah is bucking up trying to escape but Pisschazka cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Al Abdullah tries to control Pisschazka's body but Pisschazka pushes him off. Al Abdullah squirms to his side and now Pisschazka has his back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Al Abdullah looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Al Abdullah is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Let's hope that Pisschazka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Al Abdullah is trying to get back to his feet but Pisschazka has full control of the position and if anything, Al Abdullah has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Pisschazka is persistently looking for the submission but Al Abdullah is defending it well.
Al Abdullah tries to break free.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pisschazka stops a takedown attempt from Al Abdullah.
Pisschazka has Al Abdullah pressed against the cage.
Pisschazka tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Al Abdullah tries to circle away but Pisschazka has him pinned against the cage.

Pisschazka is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pisschazka has eaten all the pies!
Al Abdullah wants to stand but Pisschazka is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Al Abdullah has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pisschazka to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Al Abdullah is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pisschazka pulls down on the head and he's put Al Abdullah to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jiri Pisschazka!
