The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Face pinned against the cage. Face gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adams moves away from the strike by Face.
Face scores with a hook to the body. Adams takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Adams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Face did well to prevent Adams getting side control.

and Face counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Adams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Adams throws a series of punches but Face avoids them all with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Adams. Face does a little dance to reset his feet.

Face tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adams was well out of range. Poor timing from Face.

It looks like Puncher Face has been cut.
A big right from Adams misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Face moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off.
Face uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adams.
It looked like Face wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nice sprawl there from Face as Adams shoots in.
A quick step to the side and Face tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Adams misses with a straight left.
Face swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Face lands with a nice combination. Adams backs away looking to recover.
Face jabs Adams right on the nose. Adams blinks but takes it well.
