Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Kuas (ranked 3538 p4p, 622 weight class) and Keke Kivi (ranked 484 p4p, 92 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lucas Kuas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keke Kivi!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuas with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kivi to score with a decent uppercut.
Kuas slips a jab and a cross from Kivi.
Kuas tries to clinch there but Kivi circles away.

and Kivi counters with a nice uppercut.

Kuas dives in and scores a takedown into Kivi's guard.
Kuas definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kivi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kuas's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kuas makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kivi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kivi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuas with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kivi keeping moving, preventing Kuas from controlling successfully.
Kuas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kivi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kuas drops back looking for a leg! Kivi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kivi manages to kick Kuas off! Kuas jumps back into Kivi's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kivi misses with a hook. Kuas ducked under it nicely.
Kuas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kivi throws out a loose jab but Kuas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kuas slips a straight right by Kivi.
Kuas fails with a takedown attempt.
Kivi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kuass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A jab from Kivi finds it's way through Kuas's defenses.
Kuas drops his hands for a split second and Kivi immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Kuas face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Kivi follows up with a right hand that knocks Kuas into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Keke Kivi!
Keke Kivi seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
