Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, The Eagle!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Eagle drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eagle is working for takedown but Johnson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Eagle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jimmy Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Eagle.
Eagle goes for a takedown in the clinch but Johnson prevents it.

We've been hearing reports that Johnson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Eagle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Eagle has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.

Johnson wants the takedown. Eagle is fighting it off but Johnson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Eagle's guard against the cage.

Eagle has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Johnson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

A very excited looking The Eagle rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
