PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emilio Porter (ranked 22947 p4p, 3773 weight class) and Brian Spam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Porter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cambodia. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Porter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Spam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Spam drops Porter with a beautiful combination! Porter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Spam is looking for the KO!

Spam throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Porter on the side of the head.
Spam has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Spam throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Porter's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Spam dives in looking to finish as Porter flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Spam's strikes! Spam is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Porter's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Porter was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
