The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mullins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mullins's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jamison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mullins is one step ahead there.
Mullins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mullins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mullins gets to his feet - Jamison follows without any prompting.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jamison tries a head kick but it misses.
Jamison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mullins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jamison somewhat.
Jamison looks winded!

Jamison goes for a double leg but Mullins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mullins continues to drive forward.
Mullins tries a head kick but it misses.

Mullins is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jamison's half guard.
Mullins is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Mullins escapes and gets back to his feet.

Mullins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Jamison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mullins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mullins is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Mullins extends the arm and Jamison is forced to tap!
