Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulibarri fails in his attempt to clinch.
Semyorka appears to be looking for a big counter.
Semyorka slips under a jab from Ulibarri.
A telegraphed right hand from Ulibarri misses the target.
Ulibarri closes the distance looking to clinch
and Semyorka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ulibarri tries to clinch up.
Ulibarri swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Semyorka counters with a nice uppercut.
Ulibarri's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ulibarri's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Semyorka counters with a left hand that sends Ulibarri to the canvas!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Semyorka passes Ulibarri's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ulibarri is still in real trouble! Can Semyorka finish him?

Semyorka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ulibarri sees it coming and defends easily.
Semyorka is looking to advance position but Ulibarri won't allow it.
Ulibarri is trying to stand up here but Semyorka is controlling him well.
Ulibarri seems to have recovered his senses.
Semyorka wants to control but Ulibarri is keeping him busy.

Semyorka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ulibarri pushes Semyorka off looking to stand but Semyorka dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Semyorka is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ulibarri has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ulibarri is holding on to half guard well.

Semyorka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ulibarri is just riding it out for now. Semyorka eventually gives up the hold.
Ulibarri is controlling Semyorka's trapped leg to prevent Semyorka from advancing to side control.

Semyorka is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ulibarri pushes Semyorka off looking to stand but Semyorka dives back in and keeps control.

Semyorka is trying to work for a kimura but Ulibarri is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Semyorka lands with a right to the head.
Semyorka misses with a hook from the clinch.
Semyorka tries to work over Ulibarri's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ulibarri has a couple of punches blocked by Semyorka.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Semyorka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Neuzvarams Semyorka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Semyorka gets in close and tags Ulibarri with a short punch that almost sends Ulibarri to the mat! Oh Ulibarri is in big trouble! He turns his back on Semyorka, trying to create some distance but Semyorka rushes him, striking wildly and Ulibarri goes down! The referee tackles Semyorka into the cage to end the fight! Semyorka is one violent man!

After winning the bout, Neuzvarams Semyorka thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
