PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between adolfo padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo De Luca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Luca has chosen Crank that as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

padilla thows a body kick. De Luca tries to catch it but that hurt him.
padilla closes the distance and clinches up with De Luca, looking for a takedown. padilla pushes De Luca against the cage but De Luca circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

so padilla counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
padilla is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

padilla drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and padilla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

De Luca had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. padilla is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. De Luca Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take padilla's back instead.
padilla breaks De Luca's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
padilla seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
