Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pat Risher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mark Hamald!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risher uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hamald has time to react.
Risher with a jab.
Hamald throws a lazy head kick
and Hamald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hamald on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Risher rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hamald moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hamald throws a series of punches but Risher avoids them all with ease.

Risher instigates a clinch.
Hamald tries to break free but Risher pushes him back against the cage.
Risher lands with a light punch inside.

Hamald is rocked!
Hamald blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hamald is still on wobbly legs! Can Risher finish him?

Risher pulls guard successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Risher is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Risher is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hamald is aware though and is defending well.

Hamald is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Risher has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hamald is looking to defend but Risher has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hamald! Risher pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hamald taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Pat Risher!
