The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Wonderland shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Salvacion swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Wonderland decides to return to a standing position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Wonderland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Salvacion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salvacion throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Wonderland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
