The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schilling misses with a wild combination.
Vrabec goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Petr Vrabec seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vrabec works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Vrabec lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Schilling backs up against the cage.
Vrabec scores with a shot to the body.
Vrabec lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vrabec.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vrabec changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schilling looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vrabec stands up and beckons Schilling to his feet.
Vrabec scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Vrabec scores with the left hand. Schilling knows he should have avoided that one.

Vrabec gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vrabec connects with a knee to the head.
Schilling takes a knee to the side of the body.
Vrabec works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Schilling really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Schilling is working for takedown but Vrabec is calmly controlling the position for now.

Schilling has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vrabec after a bit of a struggle.

Schilling wants to get back to striking at distance but Vrabec won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schilling has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Vrabec.
Schilling shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vrabec pinned against the cage. Vrabec gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Vrabec keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schilling's efforts to push away.

Crunch! Vrabec slams his shin into Schilling's torso.
Vrabec lands with a big left! Schilling is wobbled badly! Vrabec comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Schilling to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
