CACC 214 PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Marc Read! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 5 losses; Fredrik Stenberg!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Read moves into range and clinches up with Stenberg.
Stenberg is trying to trip Read. He has hold of a leg but Read is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stenberg persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Read (0) vs (2) Stenberg
Stenberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Read swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stenberg is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
