The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarakakino throws a shot from downtown. Sphinx moves away and avoids it.
Sphinx closes the distance and clinches up with Sarakakino, looking for a takedown. Sphinx pushes Sarakakino against the cage but Sarakakino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sarakakino tries to bum rush Sphinx with a series of wild strikes but Sphinx uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gidaki Sarakakino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarakakino scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A combination from Sarakakino does no damage.
