The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peccorino closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Peccorino .

Barny works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Barny cracks Peccorino with a solid left hand.
Peccorino wants to stand up but Barny is controlling him.
Barny distracts Peccorino with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Peccorino is looking to stand up but Barny isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barny working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Peccorino 's head.
Barny is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Barny with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Barny controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Peccorino wants to get back to his feet but Barny passes into half guard.
Barny has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Peccorino is trying to stand.

Peccorino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barny. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barny maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Peccorino could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Barny has cracked it and Peccorino is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Barny!
