Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ray Dalio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Justice Turner!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalio closes this distance looking for a takedown but Turner circles away.
Turner throws a counter combo.
Dalio gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Turner counters with a good low kick that Dalio was not able to check.
Turner throws a nice outside leg kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Turner enables Dalio to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Turner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dalio passes Turner's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Dalio seems to be working for a kimura but Turner defends the submission attempt.
Turner tries to kick Dalio off but Dalio keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Dalio works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dalio is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Turner is forced to tap! Great finish!
