Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Oscar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gary steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gary steel looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Oscar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, gary steel!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oscar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but steel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Oscar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if steel can do anything to dispel that myth.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Oscar connects with a nice short shot to steel's temple.

Oscar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks steel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Oscar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Oscar is nestled in close to steel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oscar clinches up with steel and pushes him back against the cage.

Oscar has hold of one of steel's legs. steel is fighting the takedown attempt but Oscar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oscar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
