Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Neel (ranked 4700 p4p, 4780 weight class) and Boge Glenartsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neel is looking to clinch.
Neel shoots in for a takedown but Glenartsson shows good takedown defense.
And Glenartsson tries to counter it with a takedown but Neel pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Glenartsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Neel tries to sprawl out of it but Glenartsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Neel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Glenartsson.
Neel wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Neel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Neel takes the fight into the clinch.
Neel fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Glenartsson tries for a takedown but Neel manages to get underhooks.
Jeff Neel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boge Glenartsson.
Glenartsson tries to land knees in the clinch but Neel avoids the damage to the body.

Neel breaks the clinch.
Glenartsson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Glenartsson is looking to clinch.
Glenartsson wants to clinch up but Neel keeps it at a distance.
Neel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Horrible takedown attempt by Glenartsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Neel , which made it look bad.
Neel is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Neel moves out of range of the body kick.
Glenartsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Neel but Neel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Glenartsson with that takedown attempt.

Neel scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Neel blocks a leg kick.
Glenartsson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Neel .
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Glenartsson! But no joy.
A punch combination from Neel misses.
Glenartsson swings for the body but Neel moves out of range.
Glenartsson tries a low kick but Neel avoids it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Glenartsson shoots for a double leg takedown but Neel sprawls well. He's pushed Glenartsson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Glenartsson slaps away a takedown attempt from Neel , before circling back to the center of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Glenartsson is defended easily by Neel .

Neel gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Neel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Glenartsson has closed the distance and engaged Neel in a clinch.
Neel misses with a hook to the ribs.
Neel is trying to drag Glenartsson to the mat but Glenartsson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Neel decides to pull guard.
Neel seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Glenartsson sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Neel doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Glenartsson paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Neel - great work!
