Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Marlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Never Gonna Stop. Marlin has chosen Take It Away as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Alex Anderson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson misses with a hook. Marlin ducked under it nicely.
Anderson cracks Marlin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Anderson misses with a two punch combination.
Marlin ducks under a wild hook from Anderson.
Anderson throws a big shot that misses.
Marlin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anderson.
Anderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Anderson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Marlin moves out of range as Anderson strikes.
Anderson misses with an uppercut.

Marlin gets the takedown into side control.
Anderson pushes Marlin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marlin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Marlin has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Anderson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Marlin wants to finish this one by submission but Anderson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Marlin.

Marlin is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Marlin extends the arm and Anderson is forced to tap!
