Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Kongo (ranked 6391 p4p, 6398 weight class) and Warren Wrestler (ranked 52 p4p, 53 weight class). The key to victory for Fritz Kongo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wrestler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kongo's guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Kongo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wrestler throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kongo was covering up waiting for the punch and Wrestler finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kongo has his feet on Wrestler's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
