The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veainu throws a nice looking combination but Opress bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Veainu gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Decent striking displayed by Opress there.
Opress moves out of range as Veainu strikes.
Opress's corner calls for a 1-2. Opress obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Opress counters with a body kick that stops Veainu in his tracks momentarily.

Opress lands a nice leg kick that just misses Veainu's sensitive parts.

Opress feints and then cracks Veainu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Veainu down.

Opress was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Opress dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Veainu. That did some damage!
Opress is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Veainu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Opress swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It looked like Veainu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Veainu feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Opress sprawling to the canvas! Opress rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Veainu finish him?!

Opress is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Veainu circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Opress tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Veainu wins by KO!
