Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jobber Joe (ranked 582 p4p, 804 weight class) and Brett Shoenfeld (ranked 60 p4p, 84 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoenfeld looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Joe is fending him off so far but Shoenfeld persists. Nope, Joe circles away and we're back to standing.
Shoenfeld dives in and grabs Joe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Joe pushes down on Shoenfeld's head and hops out.
Shoenfeld on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Shoenfeld throws a lazy head kick
and Joe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shoenfeld has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brett Shoenfeld seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shoenfeld misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jobber Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Shoenfeld.
Joe lands a nice hook to Shoenfeld's body. Shoenfeld takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Shoenfeld manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joe on his heels. He'll look to pass Joe's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Joe sizes up Shoenfeld with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Shoenfeld throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Joe connects with a body shot.
Shoenfeld misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shoenfeld fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jab, jab by Joe - just one landing.
Shoenfeld shoots for a double leg takedown but Joe sprawls well. He's pushed Shoenfeld's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shoenfeld dives in for a single leg takedown but Joe sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Joe. Shoenfeld does a little dance to reset his feet.
Joe connects with a body shot that sends Shoenfeld's belly button to the back.
Shoenfeld takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Joe slaps away a takedown attempt from Shoenfeld, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Shoenfeld is rocked!
Joe throws a pinpoint strike between Shoenfeld's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Shoenfeld crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Joe scores a great knockout victory!
