Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Eagle (ranked 5071 p4p, 3451 weight class) and Jaxton Kidd (ranked 545 p4p, 442 weight class). Eagle comes to the cage accompanied by Pay money To my Pain - Weight of my pride. Kidd has chosen The Greatest as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Eagle, as that shot connected.
Kidd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eagle is fending him off so far but Kidd persists. Nope, Eagle circles away and we're back to standing.
Kidd shoots in looking for a takedown. Eagle tries to sprawl out of it but Kidd keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eagle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kidd scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Eagle gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Eagle gets back to full guard.

Kidd stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eagle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kidd drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kidd jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Kidd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eagle but Eagle pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Eagle throws a big uppercut that drops Kidd! More strikes from Eagle and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kidd lies dazed against the cage as Eagle celebrates with his cornermen!

David Eagle was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
