Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bazar Al Jhit (ranked 386 p4p, 367 weight class) and Fiyero Lermontov (ranked 54 p4p, 50 weight class). Al Jhit comes into the arena with The Greatest Light is the Greatest Shade blaring out of the sound system. Fiyero Lermontov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bazar Al Jhit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Fiyero Lermontov!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Jhit feints and as Lermontov raises his hands in defense, Al Jhit changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lermontov tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lermontov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Al Jhit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lermontov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Al Jhit trying to control but Lermontov is working from the bottom.

Al Jhit avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lermontov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Jhit lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Al Jhit stays in close to Lermontov's body and controls the position.
Lermontov keeping full guard, as Al Jhit tries to pass.

Lermontov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Al Jhit stacks Lermontov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Al Jhit!

Lermontov tries to get to full guard but Al Jhit has control of the leg.
Al Jhit has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Al Jhit wants to control but Lermontov is keeping him busy.

Lermontov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Al Jhit. Oh but Lermontov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Al Jhit goes limp - he's gone! Lermontov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

In his post fight interview, Fiyero Lermontov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
