Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Francisco De Brito (ranked 24299 p4p, 23049 weight class) and Victor Mordino (ranked 619 p4p, 657 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mordino tries to clinch but De Brito is having none of it.
Mordino is looking to clinch but De Brito is avoiding it.
De Brito dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mordino throws a low kick but it's checked well by De Brito.
Mordino takes one to the chin there.
De Brito is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mordino.

It looks like Francisco De Brito has been cut.
De Brito looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
De Brito throws out a leg kick but Mordino moves out of range and De Brito only half commits.
Mordino takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
De Brito throws a hook to the side of Mordino's head but Mordino sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Mordino makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mordino just misses with a punch to the body.

De Brito is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mordino.
De Brito feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mordinos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

De Brito lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mordino circles away quickly and effectively.
De Brito bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mordino's head.
Mordino is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Mordino counters with a left and a right that stings De Brito.
De Brito misses the jab.
De Brito does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mordino lands a right hook to the body.

De Brito is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mordino tries to close the distance and clinch up but De Brito swats him away and circles back towards the center.
De Brito throws the left hand but Mordino avoids the punch easily.

Mordino thuds his right hand into De Brito's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

De Brito turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
De Brito throws a shot from downtown. Mordino moves away and avoids it.

and before De Brito can reset, Mordino rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! De Brito is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
De Brito loads up on a big right hand but Mordino slips the punch.
Mordino avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mordino unleashes a big counter combination but De Brito bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
De Brito thows a left - swing and a miss!
De Brito scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mordino in his tracks.
Mordino is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down De Brito rather than just go for the knockout.
Mordino connects with a stiff jab that staggers De Brito - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
