The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jalbert wants to get up but he can't break Chontamenti's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Chontamenti has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jalbert doesn't defend quickly enough and Chontamenti has managed to lock this one up! Can Jalbert escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Chontamenti on a fantastic submission victory.
