The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Dill Nickle has been cut.

Mfer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nickle is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Nickle misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Mfer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mfer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nickle looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nickle keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mfer.
Mfer misses with an uppercut. Nickle saw that one coming.
Nickle loads up on a big right hand but Mfer slips the punch.
Nickle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mfer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nickle throws an overhand right that lands on Mfer's shoulder, as Mfer tries to avoid the shot.
Nickle on the wrong end of a nice jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nickle lands with a right hand.
Nickle swings for the body but Mfer moves out of range.
Nickle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mfer.
Nickle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mfer wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mfer presses Nickle against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Nickle swings wildly with an uppercut but Mfer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mfer scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Mfer working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Nickle changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mfer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A jab from Mfer finds it's way through Nickle's defenses.
Mfer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nickle in his tracks.
Mfer looks to land a left hand but Nickle moved out of range nicely.
Nickle takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nickle ducks under a wild hook from Mfer.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nickle. Mfer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mfer tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Nickle manages to circle out of the way.
Nickle looks to land a left hand but Mfer moved out of range nicely.
Mfer throws the left hand but Nickle avoids the punch easily.
Nickle throws a lazy uppercut
and Mfer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mfer throws a looping overhand right but Nickle ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mfer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Nickle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nickle throws a punch but it's blocked by Mfer.
Mfer lands a shoulder strike.
Mfer lands an uppercut.
Mfer blocking some punches.
Nickle misses with a body punch.
Mfer lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nickle backwards.

Nickle is rocked!
Mfer digs a right hand into Nickle's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nickle's gas tank.
Nickle misses with a punch on the inside.
Mfer lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mfer scores with a shoulder strike.
Nickle is still on wobbly legs! Can Mfer finish him?
Nickle misses with a hook from the clinch.
Nickle seems to have recovered his senses.
Nickle goes for a takedown attempt but Mfer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ispa Mfer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dill Nickle.
Nickle throws a body punch but Mfer moves out of range.
Nickle has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Nickle goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nickle tries a body shot but Mfer blocks it.
Mfer scores with a nice hook to the head.
Nickle tries to work over Mfer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Mfer drops Nickle onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Nickle is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Nickle tries to score a body lock takedown but Mfer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Nickle can't find room to land a body shot as Mfer controls the action.
Mfer lands a big right hand that drops Nickle! The killer instinct kicks in and Mfer finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Mfer!
