Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willie Macomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Byant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Willie Macomb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Byant!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macomb throws a series of punches but Byant avoids them all with ease.
Macomb scores with a decent looking hook.
Macomb swings for the body but Byant moves out of range.
Byant tries for a takedown but Macomb sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Macomb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Macomb looks to land a body kick but Byant moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Macomb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Byant wants to advance to full mount but Macomb doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Macomb is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Byant is controlling him.

Byant has gone for a leg lock! Macomb slips out almost immediately though and dives into Byant's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Byant counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Macomb's guard now.
Byant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Macomb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Byant is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Macomb is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Macomb has escaped and now he's on top!

Byant has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Macomb can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Byant working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Macomb doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Macomb manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Macomb is pushing down on Byant's leg trying to pass to half guard. Byant is fighting to maintain full guard but Macomb has managed to sneak the leg through.

Macomb moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Byant.
