Stark rushes Read and presses him up against the cage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Read wants to free his trapped foot but Stark is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Read passes into side control, despite Stark's attempt to control the position.

Read is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stark is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Stark works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Stark working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Read's thigh. Read counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Stark drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Read manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stark has Read in his guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Stark (2) vs (12) Read
Stark working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Read doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Read manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Read controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Stark isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Read stacks Stark on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Read! Score +3 for passing guard: Stark (2) vs (15) Read

Stark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Read swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stark pushes down on Read's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Stark is stalling here. Read is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Read is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stark will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Stark tries to lock up and control but Read gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Read is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stark is surviving well by controlling Read's body position as best he can.

Stark is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Read has taken his back.
