Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pistol shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Moose counters with a straight right hand.
Moose looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Moose throws a nice looking combination but Pistol bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pistol fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Moose avoids it really well and circles away.
Pistol shoots in for a double leg but Moose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Pistol. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pistol tries for a takedown but Moose sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Pistol backing away here, and Moose unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moose working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Pistol is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moose is sitting in close to Pistol's body. Pistol has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Moose is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Moose is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pistol.
