The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telegin gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Sergey Telegin has been cut.
Sergey Telegin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nascimento scores with a nice body kick.
Telegin tries to clinch up but Nascimento circles away and keeps his distance.
Telegin connects with a crisp jab.
Telegin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nascimento sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Telegin lands a nice shot that snaps Nascimento's head back.
Telegin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nascimento.
Nascimento is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Nascimento throws a looping overhand right but Telegin ducks down to avoid it.
Nascimento feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Telegins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Nascimento feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Telegin sprawling to the canvas! Telegin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nascimento finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Telegin throws a hook but Nascimento avoids it easily.
Nascimento throws a nice inside leg kick.
Telegin misses with an uppercut.
Nascimento was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nascimento lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Telegin falls backwards - clearly groggy! Nascimento dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
