The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mad Onion darts in and clinches Knox up against the cage.
Knox blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mad Onion lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Knox backwards.
Mad Onion misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Knox.
Our sources have told us that Mad Onion has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Knox on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Mad Onion tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Knox blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mad Onion creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Knox wants to break free but Mad Onion has control.
With the fighters up against the cage, Mad Onion throws an elbow but misses.

Mad Onion manages to break the clinch.
Knox takes one to the side of the head.

Mad Onion rushes Knox and presses him up against the cage.

Knox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mad Onion slips a jab from Knox.

and Knox counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mad Onion fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No joy there for Mad Onion, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Mad Onion counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Knox makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Knox has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Knox gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mad Onion fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knox manages to avoid it.
Mad Onion missing with a left hand there. Knox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Knox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mad Onion.

Mad Onion has taken the fight to the clinch.
Knox on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Knox.
Still in the clinch, Knox scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mad Onion scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Zeta Knox has been cut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mad Onion.
Mad Onion lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Knox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice defenses there by Mad Onion.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mad Onion is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Luke Mad Onion has been cut.

Mad Onion throws a big shot that misses.

Knox lands a big uppercut and Mad Onion crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mad Onion looks OK. Knox waves Mad Onion back to his feet!

Mad Onion leaves his chin hanging out and Knox seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Mad Onion crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
