Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Sullivan!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Turn .
John Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sullivan slaps away a takedown attempt from Turn , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Turn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sullivan pinned against the cage. Sullivan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Turn . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Turn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Turn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sullivan is pushing Turn 's head away, looking to escape. Turn manages to hold on to the position though.

Turn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sullivan has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Turn has hold of Sullivan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sullivan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Turn cranks the arm and Sullivan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sullivan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
