Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Fortuna (ranked 1919 p4p, 2248 weight class) and Pedroca Altamiro (ranked 279 p4p, 321 weight class). Fortuna comes to the cage accompanied by Godfather Theme by Nino Rota. Altamiro has chosen Mc Poze - Tô Voando Alto as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedroca Altamiro!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Altamiro misses with a wild body shot.
Altamiro checks the leg kick nicely there.

Fortuna scores with the left hand. Altamiro knows he should have avoided that one.
Fortuna lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

As Altamiro looks to move away, Fortuna throws a big counter combo but Altamiro just gets out of the way.
Altamiro walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Altamiro drops his hands momentarily and Fortuna takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The cut above Pedroca Altamiro's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Altamiro is looking to break free of the clinch but Fortuna has double underhooks.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fortuna lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Altamiro.
Altamiro wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Fortuna breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fortuna cracks Altamiro with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fortuna connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Altamiro's hands.
Fortuna wants to slow Altamiro down by chopping away at his legs.

Fortuna on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Altamiro lands a big head kick that sends Fortuna tumbling to the mat! Altamiro takes a step backwards and waves Fortuna back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fortuna is rocked!
Altamiro loads up on a big right hand but Fortuna slips the punch.
Oh Fortuna is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fortuna glances at the clock... BAM! Altamiro nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Fortuna crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Fortuna is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pedroca Altamiro!
