Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Eagle (ranked 3077 p4p, 1572 weight class) and Cranjis Mcbasketball (ranked 400 p4p, 216 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, The Eagle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cranjis Mcbasketball!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eagle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcbasketball's guard.
Eagle has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mcbasketball looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Eagle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcbasketball tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mcbasketball has momentary wrist control but Eagle slips an elbow through the middle.
Eagle passes Mcbasketball's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Mcbasketball is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Eagle pulls his head out easily.

Eagle takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Eagle has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Mcbasketball is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Eagle is nestled in close to Mcbasketball, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Eagle is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Eagle is keen to just control but Mcbasketball is a slippery customer.

Mcbasketball has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Eagle is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mcbasketball.

Eagle lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Eagle scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mcbasketball to see if he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Mcbasketball's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A very excited looking The Eagle rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
