Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zdravko Zdravkov (ranked 2735 p4p, 3166 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 392 p4p, 445 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zdravko Zdravkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kron Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie drives through with a takedown into Zdravkov's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Zdravkov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zdravkov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gracie defends well.
Zdravkov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Zdravkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zdravkov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gracie's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gracie's back!
Gracie defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Zdravkov's arms.
Gracie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Zdravkov's guard. Nice work there by Gracie.
Zdravkov controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.
Gracie stands and throws Zdravkov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Zdravkov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Zdravkov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Zdravkov wants to control but Gracie postures up.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zdravkov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Zdravkov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gracie off and has taken his back!
Gracie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Zdravkov's guard. Nice work there by Gracie.

Zdravkov drops his hands momentarily and Gracie takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Zdravkov stuffs the takedown.
Gracie tries to clinch but Zdravkov moves out of range.
Gracie tries to move into range but Zdravkov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gracie misses with a body shot.
Zdravkov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Zdravkov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zdravkov is in Gracie's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie has momentary wrist control but Zdravkov slips an elbow through the middle.
Zdravkov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Zdravkov is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Zdravkov! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Zdravkov taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kron Gracie!
Kron Gracie decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
