Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Mendoza (ranked 2183 p4p, 2133 weight class) and Jack Sadler (ranked 284 p4p, 279 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Enzo Mendoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Sadler!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza defending well as Sadler loads up on a big left hand.
Sadler tests Mendoza's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mendoza slips under a jab from Sadler.
Sadler throws a shot from downtown. Mendoza moves away and avoids it.
Mendoza throws a big counter combination but Sadler scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Sadler scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mendoza in his tracks.
Sadler misses with a left hand

and Mendoza counters with a crisp one two that drops Sadler! Mendoza thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sadler to his feet! Sadler is in big trouble!
Sadler jabs Mendoza to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mendoza takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mendoza misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sadler throws a lazy right hand but Mendoza sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mendoza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sadler swings for the body but Mendoza moves out of range.
It looked like Mendoza was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mendoza swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sadler.
Sadler throws an overhand right that lands on Mendoza's shoulder, as Mendoza tries to avoid the shot.
Mendoza uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sadler.
As Sadler looks to move away, Mendoza throws a big counter combo but Sadler just gets out of the way.
Mendoza tries to work over Sadler's front leg with a kick but Sadler checks it.
Jack Sadler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendoza gets in close and tags Sadler with a short punch that almost sends Sadler to the mat! Oh Sadler is in big trouble! He turns his back on Mendoza, trying to create some distance but Mendoza rushes him, striking wildly and Sadler goes down! The referee tackles Mendoza into the cage to end the fight! Mendoza is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enzo Mendoza!
Enzo Mendoza was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
