The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy misses with a series of wild punches.

Guy gets caught flat footed, as zavos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
zavos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
zavos pushes down on Guy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
zavos is controlling the pace.
Guy wants to improve his position but zavos is controlling well.

zavos moves into full mount! Guy won't be happy about that!
zavos thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
zavos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

zavos is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Guy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Guy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Guy is breathing heavily.

Guy has given up his back here. Will zavos look for the submission or keep pounding away?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy is in bad spot here.
zavos controls the action.
zavos lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Guy.
What can Guy do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
zavos's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, haki zavos just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Guy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and zavos counters with a nice leg kick.
zavos attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Guy throws a head kick but zavos moves out of range.

zavos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

zavos stands up from mount. Strange move.

zavos throws a half hearted mid kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
zavos avoids the head kick by Guy.
zavos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

zavos gets a takedown into half guard.
zavos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Guy has a hand on zavos's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. zavos takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Guy tries to improve his position but instead zavos has taken his back!

Guy wants to escape the position.

zavos has got one arm under Guy's chin. This could be trouble... Guy trying to control the other hand but zavos gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Guy has tapped out! The fight is over!
