The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barking shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barking misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Silva is in all sorts of trouble here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva really wants to buck Barking off and get back to his feet.
Silva manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Barking wants to advance to full mount but Silva doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Silva has his foot on Barking's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barking works his way back into a safe position though.

Barking throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Barking is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Barking is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Silva is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Silva has escaped and now he's on top!
Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Barking is trying to escape and Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Barking is forced to tap! Nice work there by Silva! Very nice indeed!
