Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mara Tantor (ranked 666 p4p, 837 weight class) and Space Jesus (ranked 96 p4p, 123 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mara Tantor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Space Jesus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tantor misses with an uppercut.
Jesus tries to clinch up.
Jesus wants to clinch.
Tantor throwing a counter right hand but Jesus manages to avoid it.
Jesus wants to clinch up but Tantor keeps it at a distance.
Mara Tantor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jesus tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tantor makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tantor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tantor pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jesus has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jesus tries to clinch
and Tantor connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tantor lands a lovely overhand right.
Jesus ducks under a wild hook from Tantor.
Jesus closes the distance looking to clinch
and Tantor counters with a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jesus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tantor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little feinted left hand from Tantor on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Tantor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jesus! Tantor lets Jesus back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Jesus is rocked!
Tantor lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

In his post fight interview, Mara Tantor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
