The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
XHTC fails with the takedown.
Punishment throws a series of punches but XHTC avoids them all with ease.
Punishment keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Punishment connects with a good right hand that stumbles XHTC. XHTC circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jab by Punishment.
Punishment uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Punishment misses with a looping right.
Some wild striking there from Punishment.
Punishment looks to land a combination but XHTC avoids it well.
Good shot there by Punishment.
Punishment keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
XHTC tries for a takedown but Punishment sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kapital Punishment has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Codename XHTC.
XHTC shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Punishment as he avoids it easily.
XHTC has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Punishment finds it's way round the side to connect with XHTC's head.
XHTC keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
XHTC closes the distance and clinches up with Punishment, looking for a takedown. XHTC pushes Punishment against the cage but Punishment circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Punishment lands an overhand right.
Punishment drops XHTC with a big left hand and mounts him. XHTC is in big trouble!
XHTC is rocked!
Punishment goes for an armbar but XHTC turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from XHTC.
Punishment had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. XHTC is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Punishment Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take XHTC's back instead.
Punishment is breathing heavily.
XHTC rolls, trying to escape but Punishment keeps control of the position.
XHTC breaks Punishment's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Punishment looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
XHTC drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. XHTC seems to have locked his on tight now - Punishment screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for XHTC, as he picks up the win!
