The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dalio changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Noitez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dalio is looking to take a break and control but Noitez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dalio tries to move into full mount but can't pass Noitez's legs.
Noitez is not content to let Dalio control the position.
Noitez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dalio has the hooks in. Noitez is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dalio is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Noitez has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dalio has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Noitez taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dalio doesn't care though - he's delighted!
