Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Gallahger (ranked 3008 p4p, 3736 weight class) and Itsuki Hiroto (ranked 367 p4p, 435 weight class). Itsuki Hiroto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallahger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hiroto stuffs the takedown.
A punch lands to the side of Gallahger 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gallahger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gallahger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hiroto.
Gallahger shoots in looking for a takedown but Hiroto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gallahger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gallahger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hiroto did well to prevent Gallahger getting side control.
Gallahger content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gallahger seems to be working for a kimura but Hiroto defends the submission attempt.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gallahger lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Gallahger is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hiroto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Gallahger slows the pace down.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gallahger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hiroto takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Gallahger happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gallahger seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hiroto for as long as he can get away with.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gallahger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Gallahger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gallahger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gallahger works to advance to full mount. Hiroto defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gallahger cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Gallahger has his feet on Hiroto's thighs here. He's pushed Hiroto off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hiroto screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
