Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoji Anjo Anjo (ranked 2649 p4p, 2418 weight class) and Kenny Claypool (ranked 358 p4p, 333 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenny Claypool!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anjo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Claypool is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Claypool will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Anjo up against the cage.

Claypool felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Claypool wants to stand and escape but Anjo is having none of it.
