Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo Cruz (ranked 5251 p4p, 5829 weight class) and Eric Lukach (ranked 614 p4p, 631 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timo Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Lukach!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lukach has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lukach moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Cruz closes the distance and pushes Lukach back into the cage.

Cruz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cruz's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lukach connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cruz scrambles back to his feet.
Cruz lands with a kick to the temple. Lukach shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Cruz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lukach lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lukach throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lukach getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lukach lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cruz circles away quickly and effectively.
Lukach is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Lukach cracks Cruz with a good jab.
Cruz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Eric Lukach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lukach lands a left and a right that send Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Lukach thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Cruz is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz is aggressively charging in as Lukach backs up avoiding any damage. Lukach tosses out a jab and Cruz runs right into it face first! Cruz is out cold! Lukach dropped down on all fours and is barking in Cruz's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
