Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Hradek (ranked 1769 p4p, 1696 weight class) and Chris Coyle (ranked 228 p4p, 219 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coyle shoots in and gets a takedown into Hradek's guard.

Hradek has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coyle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hradek is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Coyle is controlling him.

Coyle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Coyle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hradek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Coyle has managed to get both his arms back between Hradek's legs - danger averted.

Coyle looking to sit in guard and control but Hradek gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hradek throws a big right hand that misses.
Coyle controls Hradek momentarily but Hradek frees himself.

Coyle pulls Hradek in close to prevent any damage.
Hradek wants to stand but Coyle is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hradek wants to stand and escape but instead Coyle has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Hradek manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Coyle can't break the clinch.

Hradek breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coyle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hradek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hradek wants it to stay on the feet.

Coyle closes the distance and pushes Hradek back into the cage.
Hradek throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hradek managing to block the knees to the body from Coyle.
Coyle tries to score a body lock takedown but Hradek shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Hradek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Hradek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Coyle dives in for a single leg takedown but Hradek sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jan Hradek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Coyle.
Coyle takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Chris Coyle has been cut.
Coyle doesn't manage to clinch there - Hradek circles away.
Hradek throws a big counter combination but Coyle scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Coyle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hradek looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Hradek closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hradek lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Hradek tries a head kick but it misses.
Coyle throws a counter combo.

Coyle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hradek pushes Coyle off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Hradek lands a hook that stumbles Coyle back into the cage. Hradek follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Coyle to the canvas! Hradek pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Coyle has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
